DODIK: BOSNIAKS OBSTRUCTING EVERYTHING THAT COULD BENEFIT SRPSKA
PRIJEDOR, DECEMBER 10 /SRNA/ - SNSD president Milorad Dodik said that Bosniaks are obstructing everything that could benefit Republika Srpska, with the latest example being the blocking of the start of operations at the new Gradiška border crossing, which everyone will use.
“What am I supposed to say to all this? That BiH shouldn’t exist? I’ve already said that a thousand times. Am I supposed to say that it’s impossible to make progress in BiH? Well, you can see it for yourselves. Should I say that they lie, that they go to the Security Council and, through their Muslim ambassador, do whatever they want and undermine BiH’s international relations and foreign policy?” Dodik told reporters in Prijedor. He emphasized that everything related to the new Gradiška border crossing has been completed and that Republika Srpska invested the majority of the funds in the entire system. “We took out a loan to build the bridge over the Sava, for which BiH contributed nothing, especially not the Federation of BiH,” Dodik said. He pointed out that four million passengers and hundreds of thousands of vehicles have been registered at the Gradiška border crossing. “And now, just out of the whim of some guy sent from Sarajevo, something we’ve been waiting for has been stopped,” Dodik said. He reminded that he had often been criticized over the Pelješac Bridge, and stressed that he supported that project at the time to secure support for the construction of the new bridge over the Sava near Gradiška, which was disputed then. “Now the Muslims have reached a point where they think their moment has come, but what can we do. Most of them use the Gradiška border crossing, and once the new crossing is opened for freight and passenger traffic, traffic flow will speed up by 50 percent, meaning that if you used to wait an hour, you will now wait only half an hour,” Dodik said. He emphasized that all that was needed was to adopt the Rulebook on the Organization and Operations of the Indirect Taxation Authority and to deploy the Customs Service, which would enable the newly built Gradiška border crossing to begin operating. “If this is not done, then it is considered an ‘unauthorized’ crossing, and no one can take responsibility for working there. That’s all there is to it, and everyone is in favor, except for one person, a Muslim from Sarajevo,” Dodik said.
