MINIĆ: GOVERNMENT SERVES ALL CITIZENS OF REPUBLIKA SRPSKA
BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 17 /SRNA/ – The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić has said that the current Government is not a party-based government, but a government of all citizens of Republika Srpska.
"We strive not to divide citizens or local communities in any way. You have noticed that we visit all municipalities and cities regardless of the political orientation or affiliation of local authorities," Minić said at the headquarters of the Government of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka, while presenting the results marking 100 days of work. He added that the activities implemented by the Government during its first 100 days have been highly satisfactory. "We will move forward with amendments or the adoption of a new Law on Social Protection, which will regulate age limits and the exercise of additional rights related to children with serious health conditions," Minić said. He stressed that he is particularly pleased that Republika Srpska will launch a major investment cycle starting in the spring. "We are working on 300 kilometers of regional and main roads, as well as more than 35 kilometers of bypass roads. All routes related to the highway network in Srpska are being maximally advanced. This will involve a major investment cycle in the coming year," Minić said. In addition, he noted, the Government of Srpska will also address issues that are not explicitly within its jurisdiction. "In this way, we have taken over and are completing works on the Česma bridge for all citizens of Banja Luka, and I would like to announce that on Tuesday we will be at the roundabout near the ‘Audi Service’ and will begin works there as well. It is important that citizens and all tourists no longer face constant traffic congestion," Minić emphasized. He said that the construction of the highway and the connection with Serbia is proceeding at full capacity, and that cooperation between Srpska and Serbia in all joint aspects agreed upon at the All-Serb Assembly represents a significant segment of the work of the current Government. "We know that Serbia is the closest to us in every sense, and also the one that is dearest to us and on whom we can always rely. Serbia is the one we live with in the full meaning of that phrase," Minić said.
