MINIĆ: MAJOR PROJECTS INCLUDING "BUK BIJELA" MUST BE UNLOCKED
BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 17 /SRNA/ – The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić has stated today that he expects the implementation of major projects, such as the Buk Bijela Hydropower Plant and the Trebinje airport.
"I wish the Federation of BiH all the best, for work and construction to continue there… I would like them to have the same position on Republika Srpska, but look at the problems we are facing. We want serious partners and to unlock major projects such as the Buk Bijela Hydropower Plant, the Trebinje airport, and similar projects," Minić said. He expressed hope that problems would be resolved, including those related to the routes of the highway that will connect Banja Luka and Belgrade via the Brčko District. Minić also said he hopes that issues related to the gasification of Republika Srpska through Brčko will be resolved. He noted that the Government of Republika Srpska must have the time necessary to address problems that will enable a better quality of life for citizens. "We are making every effort to establish that connection, to be as open to the public as possible, and to be available for all questions. Building that trust is the most important thing, and I hope that in the coming months we will continue to bring maximum attention to ordinary people," Minić said at a press conference in Banja Luka. He does not believe that the Government made a mistake by purchasing a building in the Brčko District. "I do not think so, because I have seen the building and it is representative and necessary," Minić said.
