DODIK: THERE IS NO RULE OF LAW IN BiH, SLOVENIA DECEIVED UN
KOZARSKA DUBICA, DECEMBER 30 /SRNA/ – SNSD leader Milorad Dodik stated that there is no rule of law in BiH, contrary to claims made in a statement adopted by the UN Security Council at Slovenia's initiative on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Agreement.
"Slovenia deceived the United Nations and the entire international community with a description that is not true. They speak of BiH as a country governed by the rule of law. Why do they lie to the world organization when such rule of law does not exist here? What exists here is governance through a combination of an illegal foreigner and Bosniaks acting against the Serbs," Dodik said. He stressed that no one is threatening the territorial integrity of BiH. "They are constantly `defending` it. Imagine Slovenia talking about this, a country whose authorities were the first to dismantle Yugoslavia. Now they lecture about a multi-ethnic society," Dodik told reporters. According to him, these are "nonsensical claims" typical of liberals and globalists who are disappearing from the political scene. "We are constantly exposed to their lies portraying Bosnia and Herzegovina as a well-regulated state governed by law. Who, seriously, anywhere in the world, can claim that BiH is a rule-of-law state?" Dodik added. He emphasized that BiH is not a legal state at all, but rather a broken and failed one, noting that no one in the country wants war. "However, these lies, especially those coming from Ljubljana, aimed at misleading the entire world organization simply because Slovenia is presiding, while forgetting their own role in the suffering in the Balkans in the 1990s, truly evoke a feeling of disgust," Dodik said. He assessed that this year had been turbulent, but that Republika Srpska had managed to preserve its economy, peace and institutions, and to redefine and improve its international position. Dodik said that the previous year had been catastrophic for Republika Srpska, and that in the current year it faced political remnants of the previous period under the administration of Joseph Biden, which he described as one of the most difficult years marked by isolation and sanctions imposed on Republika Srpska. "This has led to a situation in which, even in 2025, we continue to feel injustice through an unfair, unlawful and unconstitutional process. We have learned that for Bosniaks in Sarajevo it does not matter whether something is legal, meaningful or constitutional," Dodik said. He added that, according to him, what matters to Bosniaks is revenge against Republika Srpska and the Serbs, including personally against him as the elected president of the Republic.
