TRIŠIĆ BABIĆ: SRPSKA A HEARTH AROUND WHICH DECISIONS ARE MADE

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 8 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska is a hearth around which families gather, decisions are made, values are passed on, and memories preserved, said Acting President Ana Trišić Babić at an official reception in Banja Luka marking Republika Srpska’s Republic Day on January 9.

"As long as we remain united around this hearth, we will be strong, peaceful, and steadfast," Trišić Babić emphasized. She noted that the times ahead call for even greater unity, understanding, and wisdom in order to preserve peace, identity, and progress. "Let us toast to Republika Srpska, that it may endure in peace and dignity. To Serbia, our sister and support, to the Serbian people wherever they live, in unity and strength. To all people of goodwill who believe that the future is built together," Trišić Babić said. She added that all attendees at the reception were united by shared values – peace, freedom, faith, and responsibility. "Thank you for safeguarding Republika Srpska, not only through institutions but with your hearts. This toast is not only in honor of Republic Day; it is in honor of all those who created it, defended it, and preserved it. It is in honor of those who knew that freedom is not given, but pledged," Trišić Babić said at the ceremonial reception. The official reception at the Government headquarters in Banja Luka concluded today’s Republic Day celebrations, which will continue tomorrow with a prayer gathering at the Church of Christ the Savior and a ceremonial parade at Trg Krajine. Republic Day will also be marked in the Brčko District on Saturday, January 10.
