KOŠARAC: BY SKIPPING CHRISTMAS RECEPTION, BOSNIAKS SHOWED THEIR TRUE FACE

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, JANUARY 16 /SRNA/ – By failing to attend the Christmas reception hosted by the Serb member of the Presidency of BiH Željka Cvijanović, Bosniaks once again missed an opportunity, during religious holidays, to demonstrate readiness to respect others and those who are different, said the Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac.

“They are once again showing their true face! Their absence cannot in any way prevent the observance of Christian holidays in accordance with our tradition and customs,” Košarac wrote on X. The Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović hosted the traditional Christmas reception last night at the headquarters of the Government of Republika Srpska in Istočno Sarajevo. Those attending included SNSD President Milorad Dodik, Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trišić Babić, SNS President Miloš Vučević, as well as a high-level delegation of the Government of Serbia led by Minister Nikola Selaković. A large number of ambassadors to BiH were also present, including Russian Ambassador Igor Kalabukhov, Chinese Ambassador Li Fan, UK Ambassador Julian Reilly, and Hungarian Ambassador Krisztian Posa, as well as the Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in BiH John Ginkel, and the EU Special Representative in BiH Luigi Soreca. Also attending the reception were EUFOR Commander in BiH Major General Florin-Marian Barbu and Commander of the NATO Headquarters in BiH Brigadier General Matthew Whallas, along with representatives of the Croat people.
