BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 30 /SRNA/ - SNSD leader Milorad Dodik stated that Republika Srpska has launched its diplomatic engagement in the best possible way, and that he will meet with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Budapest as early as tomorrow.

Dodik said that during the meeting with Orbán, he will express deep respect for the Hungarian people and the Prime Minister personally, and that he will wish him success in the upcoming elections. "The elections in Hungary are not just elections for the political parties participating in them, but also for us, who are committed to the ideas advocated by Orbán. I am grateful that we are implementing our agreements," Dodik said, reminding that a Hungarian Anti-Terrorism Center was opened in Banja Luka a few days ago. He announced that something similar will be done with other partners, adding that he believes some form of Israeli representation will be opened in Banja Luka. "That cannot be done in Sarajevo. And that is undoubtedly an achievement that says a lot for those who understand diplomacy," Dodik said at a press conference in Banja Luka. Dodik emphasized that Republika Srpska will continue to maintain strategic relations with Russia, reminding that he met with the Russian ambassador in Jerusalem a few days ago. "We strongly support Russia and its President Vladimir Putin, and we believe in the correctness of the policies they pursue. This will remain strategically important for us," Dodik said. According to him, it has been shown that Republika Srpska can maintain the attention of parties that appear to be in conflict at the global level.
