DODIK: REPUBLIKA FULLY SUPPORTS ORBAN FOR EVERYTHING HE DOES

BUDAPEST, JANUARY 31 /SRNA/ – SNSD Leader Milorad Dodik states that his meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban was an opportunity to further confirm the friendship between Republika Srpska and Hungary and their commitment to continue working together.

"We discussed a number of topics related to the economy, business, and infrastructure, but there were also political issues," Dodik told the press in Budapest. Dodik has emphasized Republika Srpska fully supports Prime Minister Orban for everything he does and that the citizens of Hungary will recognize his work in the elections and give him their support. "Orbán is not just a prime minister, but a statesman, a historical figure, and a man who stood up against the expansion of liberal values that were meant to undermine the identity of the community, the state, and the nation," Dodik said. Those liberal values, Dodik added, were intended to subject societies to a process of loss which today, in Western Europe, has led to uncertainty about whether the EU itself will survive. "If anyone was right, it was Orbán. He undoubtedly contributed to the opening of a historical process of bringing the Serb and Hungarian peoples closer together, despite the difficult history that burdened everything. But we have proven that it is possible to overcome this and build unity," Dodik said. He emphasized that he is proud of the cooperation with Orbán, Hungary, its institutions, and its people.
