KOŠARAC: FAILURE REMAINS THE ONLY HALLMARK OF KONAKOVIĆ’S DIPLOMACY

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, FEBRUARY 5 /SRNA/ – Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac has stated that the diplomatic offensive of Republika Srpska is the most uncomfortable mirror for Foreign Minister Elmedin Konaković, which is why he is trying to downgrade the successes of Srpska’s leadership.

"Milorad Dodik and Željka Cvijanović have achieved everything Konaković desperately wants but cannot accomplish," Košarac told SRNA. He assessed that Konaković’s greatest fear is that the success of SNSD President Milorad Dodik and the Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović shows just how empty his diplomacy really is. "Running away from his own shadow, Konaković is now trying to discredit the success of the leadership of Republika Srpska by engaging in monologues about his non-existent diplomatic grandeur," Košarac pointed out. Košarac emphasized that just as Konaković has failed to achieve any concrete results in his policy, he will also fail to diminish the significance of Republika Srpska’s diplomatic moves. "His attempts to present himself as a great strategist end in empty phrases and self-praise. Every one of his appearances is just another reminder that failure is his only continuity," Košarac believes. Košarac added that Konaković’s "diplomatic offensive" looks more like an improvised sketch than serious political work, and that with every attempt to challenge success of Republika Srpska, he only further highlights his own failure and helplessness.
