GRATITUDE TO LAVROV FOR STRONG SUPPORT OF SRPSKA'S POLICIES

BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 10 /SRNA/ - The newly elected President of Republika Srpska, Siniša Karan, thanked Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov for his congratulations on the election victory and for his strong support of Republika Srpska’s policies, and also congratulated him on Russian Diplomats' Day.

"I thank Minister Sergey Lavrov for his congratulations on my election victory and for the strong support of Republika Srpska's policies, which aim to protect the constitutional rights and competencies of Republika Srpska," Karan stated. He added that he is confident that the fraternal and friendly ties between the Serbian and Russian peoples, based on mutual respect, historical closeness, and spiritual connection, will continue to develop. "On this occasion, I also wish to extend my sincere congratulations on February 10, Russian Diplomats' Day, and to express my respect for the role of Russian diplomacy in preserving international dialogue, which contributes to stability and cooperation among nations," Karan wrote on X.
