MANY SIMILARITIES BETWEEN AMERICA AND SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 3 /SRNA/ – American General Michael Flynn has said today in Banja Luka that there are many similarities between the United States and Republika Srpska, including, among other things, the desire for independence and courage.

"Millions of Americans are close to your beliefs, which is very important. One example and similarity is that the U.S. Constitution is not comparable to Sharia law," Flynn stated. He noted that Serbs and Americans have cooperated throughout history and emphasized that the two peoples are connected by Operation Halyard – the Airlift, during which Serb soldiers rescued American pilots behind enemy lines in 1944 and 1945. "This great country and your people have a great history, because you rescued American pilots during World War II. We remember that and say our history is shared, as is our present. Everything is currently being done for the greater good," Flynn emphasized.
