SERBIA REAFFIRMS RESPONSIBLE POLICY ARISING FROM ITS RELATIONS WITH SRPSKA

SARAJEVO, MARCH 4 /SRNA/ - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac said that the offer by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, to assist in the evacuation of citizens of BiH from countries in the Middle East is a confirmation of a responsible policy and a result of brotherly and friendly relations with Republika Srpska.

Košarac expressed gratitude to Vučić and the Government of Serbia for the successful organization of the evacuation of citizens of Serbia and the region, including BiH, from countries in the Middle East. "This is yet another proof of the responsible and good neighborly policy of President Vučić and the Government of Serbia, who have made Air Serbia aircraft available to assist citizens of BiH," Košarac wrote on Instagram. He stated that this is proof of Serbia's universal and considerate approach toward all citizens of BiH, as was also the case during the COVID-19 pandemic, and countless times before. "This is the result of the brotherly and friendly ties between Republika Srpska and Serbia, as well as between Presidents Milorad Dodik and Aleksandar Vučić," Košarac emphasized. He pointed out that Serbia once again confirms its status as a regional leader and that its leadership is pursuing a responsible policy. "It is astonishing and disappointing that none of the Bosniak political leaders have praised Serbia's humanitarian gesture or thanked President Vučić for the assistance," Košarac concluded.
