TOMIĆ: KILLING OF SERBIAN CHILDREN WILL NOT BE FORGIVEN, BUT THERE WILL BE NO REVENGE

ISTOČNO NOVO SARAJEVO, MARCH 11 /SRNA/ - Boško Tomić, envoy of the Serb member of the Presidency of BiH, Željka Cvijanović, said today in Istočno Novo Sarajevo that evildoers killed 118 Serbian children during the past war, something that should never be forgotten or forgiven, but also should not be avenged.

"In the territory of Republika Srpska, 118 girls and boys were killed by evildoers. Whoever kills one person, especially a child, is as if he has killed the whole world," Tomić told reporters during the commemoration of the Day of Remembrance for the children of Serbian Sarajevo who were killed. He emphasized that the Serbian people expected the judiciary in BiH to at least launch an investigation to determine who committed these crimes, but that even that has not happened. "If earthly justice does not reach the perpetrators, God’s justice will. Anyone who took up a rifle and went to war, and then died, went to fight for his interests, his goals, for his children, his homeland, and his home. No child is guilty of anything," said Tomić. He added that he does not believe the perpetrators sleep peacefully. "They should never be forgiven, but we Serbs will not seek revenge either. We are not for revenge, but for a peaceful life," said Tomić. He added that only unity can safeguard Republika Srpska and the Serbian people, emphasizing that political or party affiliation is not what matters, but rather all-Serbian unity. The Elementary School Saint Sava in Istočno Novo Sarajevo today organized a commemoration marking the Day of Remembrance for the children of Serbian Sarajevo who were killed during the war, including pupils Nataša Učur and Milica Lalović, who were killed by sniper fire on March 11, 1995, while playing in front of their building.
