WITH MINIĆ'S RE-ELECTION, NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO CHALLENGE THE WORK OF SRPSKA'S INSTITUTIONS
BANJA LUKA, MARCH 16 /SRNA/ - Bojan Šolaja from the Center for International and Security Studies told SRNA that with the re-election of Savo Minić as Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, no one will be able to dispute the work of Srpska's institutions anymore, because everything is happening after the presidential elections have been carried out.
Šolaja stated that over the past two years Republika Srpska has been exposed to judicial prosecution and that there has been enormous pressure on the functioning of the executive authorities. "All of this that is happening is part of continuous pressure, mostly coming from Sarajevo, but it was also supported and sponsored by certain international actors," Šolaja said. He added that despite this, Republika Srpska has entered a stable period. "It remains to be seen how things will develop after the general elections in October, but the fact is that Republika Srpska has the capacity to protect its institutions, which will continue to function smoothly in accordance with the Constitution and the law," Šolaja said. He believes it is difficult to expect BiH to move forward, given that it is trying to destabilize itself internally because many actors are not dealing with what they should. "They should focus more on themselves rather than on the work of the institutions of Republika Srpska, but that is a reflection of the wrong approach of political Sarajevo not only toward Republika Srpska, but toward everyone who does not align with their interests. Because of this, BiH lives in a vicious circle from which it will be difficult to emerge," Šolaja said.
