DODIK: NEW APPOINTMENT OF GOVERNMENT - PROOF OF STABLE INSTITUTIONS

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 17 /SRNA/ – SNSD leader Milorad Dodik has stated today that only stable institutions and structures, such as those in Republika Srpska, can appoint a government three times.

"I was fortunate to receive three terms in 12 years, while Minić received the same within a year, which demonstrates strength, as a crucial and systemic issue was placed on the agenda three times, i.e. the appointment of the Srpska Government," Dodik said. He emphasized that challenges to Republika Srpska from Sarajevo will never cease. "They are doing this with the support of a internationals, thinking they had achieved something with me. Everything in BiH is distorted, as it is a failed state," Dodik told RTRS. He recalled that the opposition had been offered the formation of a government of national unity and to avoid unconstitutional elections, which was not accepted. "The opposition has been defeated and will be defeated again in the October elections. They were defeated yesterday, and their short-sightedness is astonishing. How can they raise the issue of excise duties at the BiH level with the Serb traitor Saša Magazinović and propose something aimed at transferring competencies? Revenues from excise duties are ours; they want to claim that the Council of Ministers is a `government,` which is not true," Dodik said.
