KOŠARAC: CLASH OF CIVILIZATIONS UNFOLDING IN BiH; WE WILL CONTINUE TO DEFEND CHRISTIAN INTERESTS
ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, MARCH 18 /SRNA/ - Staša Košarac, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, stated that a clash of civilizations is underway in BiH, which, he said, is best evidenced by the persistent efforts of Muslim political leaders to create a unitary Islamic state.
“This is more than clear even after today’s gathering in Sarajevo, which showed that Muslim political and religious leaders have not renounced the ‘Islamic Declaration’ and the policies of Alija Izetbegović. At the same time, they are trying to convince us of their falsehoods, while supporters of Alija’s policy, which sacrificed peace for BiH, are speaking to us about peace,” Košarac said, commenting on the statement on the “condemnation of hate speech, Islamophobia, and false narratives about Bosniaks and BiH,” signed today by Bosniak representatives. Košarac emphasized that proponents of a “tiny state” consistently promote the thesis that Bosniaks are the majority and should make decisions without the participation of the other two constituent peoples. “That is a projection of the state envisioned in the ‘Islamic Declaration,’ in which there would be no place for Christians, or they would be reduced to a minority without any rights. The Islamic Community in BiH once again confirms its intentions in BiH. All are united in a struggle against Christianity in BiH and against the interests of the Serbian and Croatian peoples,” Košarac said. He stated on Instagram that this is also a model for the October elections. “They are trying in vain! They will not stop us from continuing to defend the interests of Christians in BiH with the same intensity and with the truth. We will use every opportunity, in every place on the planet, to warn about their intentions and to point out how Muslim political and religious leaders are endangering the interests of Christians in BiH,” Košarac said.
