SRPSKA PROMOTES ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES AT KEY INDUSTRIAL EVENT IN EUROPE
PARIS, APRIL 7 /SRNA/ - Investment potential, projects and opportunities for investment in Republika Srpska were presented at the Global Industrie Paris 2026 fair, one of the most important industrial events in Europe.
The official presentation of Srpska at the fair was organized for the first time by the Republika Srpska Representation in France, whose head Bojana Kondić Panić told SRNA that the official stand enabled direct promotion of Srpska's economy and the establishment of contacts with numerous international companies, institutions and investors. She assessed that participation in the fair is an important step in strengthening the visibility of Republika Srpska and building its positive image in France. Panić emphasized that the presence of the delegation of the Investment-Development Bank of Republika Srpska, led by Acting Director Nedeljko Ćorić, further enhanced the level of presentation, noting that significant meetings were held during the fair with representatives of financial institutions and business entities. The Global Industrie Paris fair represents a leading platform for connecting manufacturers, technology companies, decision-makers and industry experts from around the world, which gives Republika Srpska's participation additional importance in the context of strengthening its international economic position. On the first day of the fair, important meetings were held with the presidents of the chambers of commerce of the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes and Haute-Savoie regions, during which opportunities for improving economic cooperation and connecting businesses were discussed. Notable discussions were also held with representatives of the investment community, including participants of the Tesla Tech forum and the investment fund Koloventures, Miša Ražnatović, a lawyer and honorary representative of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce in France, as well as Žak Mojsilović from the company Numalis. "On that occasion, there was significant interest in supporting the connection of Republika Srpska with financial institutions and investment funds, as well as in developing the IT sector through available financing mechanisms," Panić said. During the second day of the fair, numerous meetings were organized between the Investment-Development Bank delegation and companies from various industrial sectors, with considerable interest expressed in establishing partnerships and business cooperation with Republika Srpska. As part of the visit, meetings were also held with representatives of the banking group Caisse d'Epargne /BPCE Group/, as well as with the Vice President for Development of the Paris region Alexandre Dublanche and the President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Val-d’Oise region Pierre Kuchly, where discussions focused on enhancing economic cooperation and concrete models of future joint activities. The delegation also met with representatives of the French institution Bpifrance /Banque Publique d'Investissement/, including Director for Europe in the Directorate for International and European Affairs Christian Dubarry, to discuss possibilities for cooperation and exchange of experience in financing development projects in Republika Srpska. Panić added that a meeting was held at the headquarters of the Paris Region Chamber of Commerce with Agnes Gomes, Head of the International Cooperation Department, and other representatives of the institution, during which it was agreed to intensify cooperation through organizing investment events and connecting business entities. The Republika Srpska Representation in France stated that activities aimed at promoting investment potential and attracting new investments will continue.
