KOŠARAC: MESSAGE OF SRPSKA BEING OPEN TO COOPERATION WITH FOREIGN INVESTORS SENT FROM PANEL DISCUSSION
BANJA LUKA, APRIL 7 /SRNA/ – Council of Ministers Deputy Chair Staša Košarac says that today’s panel discussion in Banja Luka, at which the son of the U.S. president Donald Trump Jr. addressed, emphasized that Republika Srpska and its leadership are open to cooperation with foreign investors.
Košarac stated that investments in the energy and IT sectors, infrastructure development, and Republika Srpska’s potential were also discussed. “Republika Srpska’s advantages and strength, which are confirmed by the fact that the messages calling for an investment momentum in Srpska are clearly understood, were also discussed,” Košarac told the press after the panel discussion. He added that the USA - EU relations were also discussed, noting that the sluggishness of the EU is evident. Košarac pointed out that the panel discussion was an opportunity to demonstrate Srpska’s commitment to future cooperation with the United States, adding that the event represents a significant success for Republika Srpska and confirmation of the importance of the policies being pursued. “We will keep doing it. Republika Srpska has good relations with the United States, Hungary, China, Russia, Serbia, and Slovakia, which proves that we ensure clear international capacity,” said Košarac, who also serves as Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the Council of Ministers. He stressed that this meeting demonstrates that Republika Srpska and the team gathered around SNSD leader Milorad Dodik have the ability and capacity to host very important figures in Banja Luka, thereby confirming that the largest city of Srpska is a place of international dialogue. “Republika Srpska conducts global politics, while there are those in Sarajevo who pursue divan politics, which makes a major difference between us,” Košarac said. He recalled that Dodik courageously supported the current U.S. president Donald Trump even before the election and emphasized the importance of continuing good relations with the United States, while official Sarajevo celebrated the victory of his predecessor Joseph Biden. “These are two diametrically different political worlds in BiH. Today’s visit by Donald Trump Jr. confirms that the policy advocated by Dodik is the correct one,” Košarac said.
