MILAN LJEPOJEVIĆ’S BOOK PROMOTED IN BUDAPEST; SERBS ARE GREAT PEOPLE AS THEY HAVE TWO STATES
BUDAPEST, APRIL 23 /SRNA/ – The book "The End of the Vampire Ball" by Milan Ljepojević was promoted this evening at the Tekelianum in Budapest.
After the promotion, Ljepojević told SRNA that the book is about four crimes committed against the Serb people: the genocide against Serbs from 1941 to 1945 in the NDH, crimes in Srebrenica between 1992 and 1995, the bombing of Republika Srpska from August 30 to September 13, 1995, and the fourth crime is the bombing of Serbia by NATO forces under the hypocritical name "Merciful Angel" from March 24 to June 10, 1999. "This raises the question for everyone who is the victim and who is the aggressor here? Serbs were in their homes, with their families, on their land, then NATO aggressors, Germans, Nazis, Ustasha, criminals came to kill innocent Serb people, entire families, and destroy their property," Ljepojević said. He pointed out that all of this speaks about the justification for the creation and existence of Republika Srpska, as it is a guarantee of the survival of the Serb people, as well as their freedom and security. "A people without their own state has no security, which is why Serbs are a great nation as they have their own state, not one but two: Republika Srpska and Serbia, and a state is the guarantor of a nation’s survival," Ljepojević emphasized. Ljepojević said that József Sutus translated the book into Hungarian, and that the aim is to further strengthen ties between the Serb and Hungarian peoples and to familiarize Hungarians with historical events in this region in which the Serb people were victims of aggression. He added that the promotion, held in a packed hall at the Tekelianum, was impressive, expressing special gratitude to the clergy of the Diocese of Buda, Serbia’s Ambassador Aleksandra Đurović, and BiH Ambassador to Hungary Biljana Gutić Bjelica for honouring the event with their presence. In addition to the author, the book was also presented by reviewer Saša Mićin, a professor of security studies in Banja Luka.
