JUDSON UNIVERSITY PRESENTS AWARD TO DODIK

ELGIN, MAY 1 /SRNA/ – President Milorad Dodik has been presented with an award for the courage required for leadership and commitment to national sovereignty and democratic principles by Judson University in the US city of Elgin.

Dodik is a guest at the World Leaders Forum "Advancing Democracy". The university previously explained that the award is presented to leaders who demonstrate determination and readiness to stand by their convictions and firmly defend democratic values. The forum brings together influential leaders and globally significant figures to share their experience and perspectives with students. Special emphasis during the forum is placed on Christian values. Mark Vargas of Judson University said at a reception ahead of the award ceremony of the World Leaders Forum in Chicago that President Milorad Dodik has demonstrated how much effort, faith and personal sacrifice he has invested in the fight for democratic principles. "This is the first time this award is being presented to a world leader in the name of democracy, and President Dodik has, through his actions, shown the level of dedication required to preserve democratic values," Vargas said. Ahead of receiving the award, Dodik said that the recognition from Judson University in Elgin is confirmation that Republika Srpska, freedom and democracy are not to be given up under any circumstances.
