STEVANDIĆ: WE ARRIVED IN MOSCOW AS REPRESENTATIVES OF PEOPLE THAT DEFEATED NAZISM

MOSCOW, MAY 8 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić says the Republika Srpska delegation is attending the Victory Day ceremony in Russia as it represents a people that defeated Nazism and respects the sacrifice of the Russian people in World War II.

"Republika Srpska has adopted strategic principles for both foreign and domestic policy. This is not a paid visit. We came to Russia because we are authentic representatives of a people that defeated Nazism," Stevandić told media outlets from Republika Srpska in Moscow. He emphasizes that Republika Srpska has strategic cooperation with Russia, tied together by the victory of good over evil. "We do not bargain with history, we do not allow its revision, and we do not allow those who sought to threaten us in 1945 to endanger us again," Stevandić said. He stressed that sovereignism has returned to Europe and that Srpska is not alone in this. "The Brussels bureaucracy shows no pragmatism in protecting peace in the world, unlike Russia. They want to achieve victory by humiliating those who are militarily stronger. One cannot support the Azov Brigade; that is an anti-civilizational process," Stevandić said. He emphasized that Republika Srpska hopes for peace and believes it will be the most beneficial.
