MOSCOW WILL DO EVERYTHING TO RESTORE REPUBLIKA SRPSKA'S POWERS AND ANNUL SCHMIDT'S ACTIONS
BELGRADE, MAY 10 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Senator Bogdana Koljević told SRNA that it is quite certain Moscow will do everything to help restore the powers of Republika Srpska and annul the unlawful actions of the fake High Representative in BiH.
"This would open a new phase in which Republika Srpska could emerge as an important factor in both the Balkans and Europe, and its relevance would be proportional to the extent to which its foreign policy aligns with the foreign policy principles of Russia and the free world, which is primarily a policy of truth and law," she said. Regarding the statement by SNSD leader Milorad Dodik that he believes Russia will request at a session of the UN Security Council that all decisions of Christian Schmidt be declared null and legally invalid, Koljević said that such announcements are fully in line with the Russian Federation’s continued efforts to respect and preserve the original Dayton Peace Agreement. Referring to the presence of the delegation of Republika Srpska at the Victory Day celebration in Moscow on May 9 and the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Koljević said it was of historical importance for the entire Serbian people, who, throughout the centuries, together with Russia, have always stood on the side of justice, truth, and freedom. In that light, she added, it is equally important that the President of Republika Srpska, Siniša Karan, once again emphasized that Moscow is Banja Luka's most important strategic partner. She explained that this orientation represents the fundamental pillar on which the foreign policy of Republika Srpska in the 21st century should be consistently built in a principled way. "Not only for historical and fraternal reasons, starting from the fact that Banja Luka has no other such political partner it can fully rely on, but also because Russia, together with China and other BRICS countries, is establishing the foundations of a multipolar world based on sovereignty, equality, and non-intervention," said Koljević. She added that these are precisely the principles the Serbs have always defended throughout history and which represent the core of the Serbian identity. "Every Serbian foreign policy must be based on them if it seeks to defend Serbian identity, its past and its future," said Koljević, who is also a doctor of political philosophy and an independent member of the Parliament of Serbia.
