IMMEDIATELY ERASE ALL OF SCHMIDT'S DECISIONS
SARAJEVO, MAY 13 /SRNA/ - Erasing all Christian Schmidt's decisions is necessary in order for anything in BiH to return to even a minimally acceptable state, at least from the standpoint of international law principles and the role of the UN Security Council, legal expert Ognjen Tadić told SRNA.
He pointed out that the so-called Peace Implementation Council had brutally and arrogantly humiliated the UN Security Council by unlawfully imposing Schmidt. "That humiliation has lasted for five years already, and the UN Security Council will not restore its authority until it confronts that fact and responds appropriately," Tadić believes. Commenting on the addresses by Bosniak BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović and BiH Ambassador to the UN Zlatko Lagumdžija at the UN Security Council session, Tadić said they are prisoners of their own false narrative about BiH, untruths about history and contemporary events, and insincerity toward the Dayton Peace Agreement and the other peoples. "The untruths they have poured into their own people for decades in order to give them false importance compared to the other two peoples have completely slipped out of their control, which they can no longer cope with. This is a serious challenge to peace and the Dayton-based values, which was evident at the Security Council session," Tadić added. He stated that Bosniak Muslims should recognize the shock visible on the faces of Bećirović and Lagumdžija in New York when confronted with the absolute truth shown on the Zagreb three-entity map. Bosniak Muslims should finally understand, Tadić says, that it is impossible to govern the remaining 77 percent of the territory from the position of a majority on 23 percent of the territory, where the other two peoples form the majority. "Although both Bećirović and Lagumdžija belong to a generation of official Sarajevo representatives whose every single word lacks political weight or significance, the danger that they could harm peace in BiH must not be underestimated, because there is nothing well-intentioned, truthful, or sincere in the politics of such people," Tadić believes.
