KRNJIĆ'S DECISION REFLECTS THE HATRED OF POLITICAL SARAJEVO AND PROOF THAT BiH CANNOT FUNCTION

GRADIŠKA, MAY 19 /SRNA/ - The Minister of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers Srđan Amidžić said today in Gradiška that the decision of Zijad Krnjić, a member of the Management Board of the Indirect Taxation Administration /ITA/ of BiH, is a reflection of the hatred of political Sarajevo towards everything Serbian and proof that BiH cannot function.

Amidžić pointed out that all the other members of the ITA Board of Directors spoke in favor of opening a new border crossing, and that only Krnjić was against it, even in these circumstances when the existing border crossing is no longer functioning. "Zijad Krnjić is a Muslim who punishes the Serb, Bosniak and Croatian people, and who perceives the Serbs as they perceived the Jews in World War II. If you asked him, he would probably put yellow stars on our shoulders to distinguish us from other people living in BiH," said Amidžić at a press conference in Gradiška. According to him, if someone thinks that these words are too harsh, then they only need to look at the collapsed part of the bridge in Gradiška and the blocked city. "Does someone have to die in order for him to cheer up? Can it occur to a normal person in the world that a person does not want the border crossing to be opened solely because of the hatred he has for the people who live in Republika Srpska?" Amidžić asked. While the existing bridge is being demolished, Amidžić added, Krnjić votes against the opening of the new bridge, in which 102 million euros have been invested, and talks about coexistence and multi-ethnic BiH. "It means nothing to that man that someone could have died here. Where do we live, people? Is this a normal country, can anyone explain this?" Amidžić asked. Amidžić added that before his political involvement in Sarajevo, he thought that SNSD leader Milorad Dodik was too harsh in some assessments, and now he sees that he is too liberal in his views when he talks about what BiH is. "This is the place of hatred of political Sarajevo towards Republika Srpska and proof BiH cannot function", stressed Amidžić. He asked if anyone was aware of a situation where some personnel from Republika Srpska obstructed a project from the Federation of BiH /FBiH/. "I'm not a crazy person to do such things. I look forward to all the good things that are done in the FBiH. Here I blame the SDA, because he is their expert, but also the `Troika` for not removing that expert and appointing a man who is not filled with hatred," said Amidžić. Amidžić emphasized that only hatred stands with this event and with this kind of behavior. "This is terrible, every normal person in BiH will say that this is absolutely terrible. And Zijad Krnjić is a hero in FBiH, but I tell him that it won't be his way either," said Amidžić. He "thanked" Krnjić because, as he stated, he removed any misconception that BiH can exist, about what the position of Serbs and Croats would be if Bosniaks decided on them. "It would be like this. This is a circus; this is not a state. There is no BiH. Amidžić stated that as an alternative, they went to the Council of Ministers, but that colleagues from the FBiH did not give the chance to create any possibility to close this border crossing and open a new one that would make it easier for everyone. "This country has no future. I thank Zijad Krnjić for showing what would happen to the people of Republika Srpska if they came to a situation where we do not decide for ourselves, and this is proof of how important the institutions of Republika Srpska and the right to decide for ourselves are," said Amidžić.
