XI: PUTIN'S VISIT TO BEIJING HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL

BEIJING, MAY 20 /SRNA - RIA Novosti/ - Chinese President Xi Jinping said that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Beijing was highly successful.

“During the visit, we signed many joint documents. Although the visit lasted only one day, the results are significant and substantial,” Xi said. He congratulated Putin and the Russian delegation on very good cooperation and a productive visit, during which agreements on cooperation in many fields were reached. Xi Jinping concluded the visit by inviting Putin to a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Putin arrived in China on an official visit yesterday, and today talks between the two presidents were held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
