PUTIN: VISIT TO BEIJING HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL

BEIJING, MAY 20 /SRNA - RIA Novosti/ - Russian President Vladimir Putin said the Russian delegation’s visit to China was highly successful and productive.

“I agree with the assessment /of Chinese President Xi Jinping/, it was a very successful, productive, and intensive work. I think there is reason to thank all our teams on both sides who put great effort into organizing today’s meeting,” Putin said during his meeting with Xi. He added that during his visit to China, the two sides outlined prospects for the further development of bilateral relations. Putin arrived in China on an official visit yesterday, and today he held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
