MAZALICA: WE SHOULD ADOPT DECLARATION THROUGH WHICH SRPSKA WILL CALL FOR CLOSING THE OHR
BANJA LUKA, MAY 25 /SRNA/ – Srđan Mazalica, head of the SNSD caucus in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, says that deputies should today adopt a declaration through which Republika Srpska would present its position and call for the closure of the OHR.
Mazalica noted that Republika Srpska currently maintains good cooperation with major world powers such as Russia, the United States, and China, and is therefore in a position to adopt this document. "With the arrival of Christian Schmidt without the approval of the UN Security Council, ties with international law were broken, leading to something that can rightly be described as a colonial dictatorship," Mazalica said during the debate before the National Assembly of Republika Srpska on the Declaration on closing the Office of High Representative in BiH. He recalled that Schmidt amended some of the most important laws in BiH and imposed decisions, stressing that this is a classic colonial dictatorship. "Schmidt permanently introduced instability into BiH and ultimately resigned," Mazalica said. He stressed that this therefore justifies the goal of the Declaration - ending the work of the Office of High Representative, abolishing the Bonn powers, and transferring full responsibility to local politicians. "That is what Republika Srpska has advocated all along," Mazalica said.
