STATE-OF-THE-ART EQUIPMENT FOR MALIGNANT DISEASES THERAPY PUT INTO OPERATION
BANJA LUKA, MAY 29 /SRNA/ – State-of-the-art equipment for the treatment of malignant diseases was officially put into operation today in Banja Luka as a part of the 35th May Pulmonology Days, attended by Republika Srpska officials.
The equipment includes a third linear accelerator and a brachytherapy device at the Banja Luka Radiotherapy Centre, located in the Polyclinic building of the University Clinical Centre /UCC/ of Republika Srpska. The event was attended by Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić, Minister of Health and Social Welfare Alen Šeranić, Director of the Republika Srpska UCC Nikola Šobot, as well as numerous healthcare professionals and public officials.
