CVIJANOVIĆ: SARAJEVO CANNOT FUNCTION IN NORMAL AND SOVEREIGN BiH

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, JUNE 1 /SRNA/ - The Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović said, commenting on a Sarajevo-based Raport article about the appointment of a new high representative, that political Sarajevo does not know what to do with a normal and sovereign BiH.

Following the logic presented in the Raport article, Cvijanović said, it would mean that France or the United Kingdom could also block a US proposal for an appointment in the UN Security Council, while only Sarajevo is objecting to the proposed candidate. "We are sitting in the stands simply watching you chase that square ball around in such a bewildered manner. The truth is that you and your foreign partners are not fighting for a sovereign BiH. You do not know what to do with a normal and sovereign country. Nor do you know how to assume responsibility for political processes, because someone else has always done that on your behalf", Cvijanović wrote on the social network X. Sarajevo-based Raport wrote that SNSD President Milorad Dodik is now facing "the problem of how to reject a high representative supported by the United States", who, according to the outlet, was "appointed in the same way as Christian Schmidt".
