KARAN: INVESTMENT IN EDUCATION - MOST IMPORTANT INVESTMENT IN FUTURE OF SRPSKA
BANJA LUKA, JUNE 2 /SRNA/ - The President of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan pointed out that investment in education is the most important investment in the future of Srpska and that modern equipment for teaching computer science has arrived in schools in Derventa and Kozarska Dubica.
"The project, which is financed from the budget of the President of Republika Srpska, is a strategic step towards greater digitization and modernization of the education system," Karan announced on X. The director of Derventa Vocational and Technical School Branka Jović assessed that the new IT equipment will significantly improve the work of the school, since with this equipment students will have access to new technologies and thus connect theory and practice, thus better preparing them for the real labor market. "As these technologies progress, so we must follow these modern trends and thus prepare students for the future, because the project itself says, `Better schools for a better future,`" Jović said. A student from Derventa Vocational and Technical School Milica Radanović pointed out that for them, the new approach means stable and reliable work.
