DODIK: NO PIC AGREEMENT IS VALID WITHOUT INTERNAL DIALOGUE

ST. PETERSBURG, JUNE 3 /SRNA/ - SNSD President Milorad Dodik has stressed today that no agreement of the Peace Implementation Council /PIC/ can be valid without internal dialogue in BiH.

ST. PETERSBURG, JUNE 3 /SRNA/ - SNSD President Milorad Dodik has stressed today that no agreement of the Peace Implementation Council /PIC/ can be valid without internal dialogue in BiH.

"The PIC is an intergovernmental organization of several frustrated Western states and governments that are taking revenge on us here in an attempt to preserve the protectorate and tell us what we should do," Dodik told media outlets from Republika Srpska upon arriving in St. Petersburg. Dodik said that there are some naive people in Republika Srpska who believe that it is enough simply to talk with them, but that his twenty years of experience have shown that every such discussion has worked to Republika Srpska's detriment rather than its benefit. According to Dodik, all sides in BiH would have achieved far more had they been allowed to manage affairs on their own. He pointed to numerous agreements in BiH that, he said, were undermined by foreign actors, including the most recent agreement with the Troika parties reached in Laktaši on legislative reforms. Meanwhile, Dodik stressed, Republika Srpska continues to move forward, recording positive GDP growth for 21 consecutive quarters, preserving employment levels and economic stability, while maintaining real wage growth. "The figures show that the real growth of wages and pensions exceeds inflation. We remain the least indebted country in the region, our economy is stable and we are meeting all of our obligations. As for the PIC, it can continue to be guided by the crocodile tears of Muslims in Sarajevo," Dodik said, noting that guardians are appointed only for those who are incapable of making decisions for themselves.
