MINIĆ: SRPSKA THE ONLY ONE COMMITTED TO EUROPEAN PATH

PALE, JUNE 3 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said that Republika Srpska is the only one that is committed and institutionally responsible when it comes to BiH's European path, unlike the other entity and the ten cantons, which are not taking that process anywhere.

Minić stressed during his lecture in Pale that Republika Srpska supports the European path, but without any reduction of its competencies or rights. "Such a stance does not slow down, but rather makes the path of Republika Srpska toward certain integrations more legally and politically grounded", Minić said. According to him, Republika Srpska is gradually becoming one of the most attractive places for EU investment, not because of cheap labor, but because of the stability of the system, which ensures security for invested capital. He pointed to completed projects as well as those currently underway, highlighting the energy stability of Republika Srpska, which has, as he said, the most favorable gas prices, as well as banks and companies investing and operating there. "In two years, Republika Srpska will double its number of kilometers of highways. Republika Srpska is connecting, people are coming here. We are building major energy facilities, from gas pipelines to hydroelectric plants", Minić said. He stressed that Republika Srpska is an open society for the media and freedom of expression, as well as all freedoms that contribute to the interests of Republika Srpska. "Institutions treat the categories they represent with the highest responsibility. We nurture and pay special attention to our veterans, pensioners and all other social categories", Minić said at the lecture titled "Republika Srpska – Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow", held at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Istočno Sarajevo.
