USA AWARE THAT PORTRAIT OF IRAN'S REVOLUTIONARY GUARD LEADER HANGS IN A SCHOOL NEAR SARAJEVO

BELGRADE, JUNE 14 /SRNA/ – The Serb Presidency member Željka Cvijanović stated that officials in the United States are aware that a classroom in a school near Sarajevo displays a portrait of Qasem Soleimani, the leader of Iran's Revolutionary Guard.

Cvijanović recalled that Soleimani was killed following an executive order issued by U.S. President Donald Trump and added that “this is not happening in Republika Srpska, but in Sarajevo and its surroundings.” She assumes that both Mossad and CIA possess information about the matter, and pointed out that some of the perpetrators of the September 11 attacks had held BiH passports. Cvijanović stressed that a foreign media outlet had published a report about the school, including the portrait and flags displayed there, adding that such issues attract the attention of many, particularly services. Commenting on the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, Cvijanović said that losers like him resort to labels whenever they lack arguments, referring to his characterization of SNSD and herself as a “Russian submarine” allegedly obstructing BiH’s path toward the EU. Cvijanović stressed Konaković is “entertaining,” but argued that BiH loses valuable time when represented by people of that kind. She added that Konaković “talks nonsense” when he claims that Srpska is preventing BiH from joining the EU. “He is incapable of explaining any serious idea in a different way,” Cvijanović told RTS, adding that people in the current U.S. administration, as well as in Tel Aviv and Moscow, understand the situation better than Konaković does.
