SARAJEVO, JUNE 27 /SRNA/ – Serb BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović extended greetings on the occasion of Vidovdan/St. Vitus Day, the patron saint's day of the Republika Srpska Army, which left an indelible mark in the defence of Republika Srpska and the Serb people.

Cvijanović pointed out that Vidovdan is a major Serb holiday and a day of covenant in which history, faith and customs intertwine, symbolizing unity, perseverance and devotion to the values that have shaped our people, the BiH Presidency announced. "It is an opportunity to remember with deep respect the brave members of the Republika Srpska Army who gave their lives in the defence of Republika Srpska, as well as to express lasting gratitude to all disabled war veterans and the families of fallen soldiers," Cvijanović said. She pointed out that the Republika Srpska Army left an indelible mark in the defence of Republika Srpska and the Serb people, and that its glorious tradition, identity and values are proudly preserved by the Third Infantry Regiment /Republika Srpska/ of the BiH Armed Forces.
