KOVAČEVIĆ: WE WILL KEEP WINNING WITH THE PEOPLE, REGARDLESS OF THE CEC, PIC AND OTHER EVILDOERS
BANJA LUKA, JULY 11 /SRNA/ - The Central Election Commission /CEC/ is carrying out tasks that are primarily directed against Republika Srpska, SNSD spokesman Radovan Kovačević said.
Kovačević stated that the CEC is made up of people who are nothing more than a political weapon of political Sarajevo and part of the international community, whose sponsors were former US Ambassador to BiH Michael Murphy and /Christian/ Schmidt. "We see that they are imposing penalties on someone other than the SNSD and Milorad Dodik, but in essence everything boils down to this being just a cover for punishing the SNSD, and for what? For nothing," Kovačević stressed. He told "Glas Srpske" that they would continue punishing SNSD until the point of banning it from participating in elections. "They want to ban us from engaging in politics and from saying anything about politics. The latest penalty was imposed over a statement by Milorad Dodik in which he said: 'Give me the strength so that Željka Cvijanović can go to the State Department and present the positions of Republika Srpska.' That is the sentence for which we were fined for premature campaigning. I truly do not know what someone involved in politics is supposed to say," the SNSD spokesperson said. He stressed that "political witchhunt" is underway, with the CEC having determined that SNSD is the target because it enjoys the support of the people in Republika Srpska. "We are used to being punished, sanctioned and challenged, to Republika Srpska being oppressed. What hurts them the most is that we, and the people of Republika Srpska, have become accustomed to winning. And we will keep winning, regardless of the CEC, PIC and other evildoers," Kovačević said.
