MINIĆ: TRUTH ABOUT SUFFERING OF SERBS WILL BE IN FOCUS OF WORLD PUBLIC ATTENTION
BANJA LUKA, JULY 11 /SRNA/ - Regarding the global campaign in New York titled "Learn About Serbian Suffering", Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić emphasized that it is of historic significance that all the suffering of the Serbian people will come under the spotlight of world public attention, allowing the truth about Serbian suffering to finally be heard.
"The place where this is happening is the source of attention and information when it comes to the global media, and, on the other hand, it is significant institutionally because of the United Nations headquarters," Minić said, adding that many decisions have been made without the consent of the UN, while many actions were neither prevented nor condemned. Minić emphasized that this campaign is not directed against anyone. "We are only fighting for the truth, and I believe this will contribute to having up to four million people follow this daily," Minić said. Minić expressed his belief that, after this, many people around the world will understand who the Serbs are, that they are a freedom-loving people, the Memorial Center of Republika Srpska said. "Everyone should know that the injustice toward Serbs can be corrected once they acknowledge our suffering and our innocent victims," Minić said, emphasizing the importance of the work carried out by the Memorial Center of Republika Srpska, which has brought together archival materials aimed solely at presenting the truth. "I believe this is the right place and the right time. It is good that the truth about the Serbian people is finally being heard," Minić added. The Memorial Center of Republika Srpska has launched the global campaign "Learn About Serbian Suffering" in the center of New York, presenting for the first time in history in the United States the story of the suffering of the Serbian people. As part of this campaign, a mobile multimedia exhibition featuring documented facts about the centuries-long suffering of the Serbian people is being held.
