GAGIĆ: GENERAL MLADIĆ LED REPUBLIKA SRPSKA ARMY DURING ITS MOST DIFFICULT PERIOD

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 27 /SRNA/ — President of the Republika Srpska Veterans' Organization /BORS/ Milovan Gagić told SRNA that General Ratko Mladić took command of the Army of Republika Srpska during its most difficult period, aware of the responsibility he had assumed and determined to defend the Serb people.

"General Ratko Mladić found the strength to take command of the Army of Republika Srpska, as the first among equals, aware that he was defending his people. To carry that cross on his shoulders and, with that cross, go before God today - that is what marked his life," Gagić told SRNA. On behalf of BORS, he expressed his sincere condolences to General Mladić's family, stressing that he was a man who stood with the people and Republika Srpska during the most difficult period.
