DODIK: REHABILITATION OF SRBAC–DERVENTA ROAD DEMONSTRATES REPUBLIKA SRPSKA’S POTENTIAL

SRBAC, SEPTEMBER 2 /SRNA/ – President Milorad Dodik says the rehabilitation of the Srbac–Derventa main road demonstrates the potential of Republika Srpska and its ability to build.

SRBAC, SEPTEMBER 2 /SRNA/ – President Milorad Dodik says the rehabilitation of the Srbac–Derventa main road demonstrates the potential of Republika Srpska and its ability to build.

“This speaks about the team of people who have come together and are committed to leaving behind success, roads, and everything needed. I know how much we have done here in Srbac and what we have accomplished. We keep doing it, and you in Srbac deserve this,” Dodik said in an address at the ceremony marking the completion of rehabilitation works on the Srbac–Derventa section of the main road. Dodik thanked everyone involved in the reconstruction, stressing that this is an important road route. “This is becoming an important connection for Brod and Derventa, Srbac, and further toward Gradiška, something we had to do,” Dodik said. He added that he was particularly fond of Srbac and that nearly all problems the municipality is facing have been resolved, adding that the authorities would continue their work. “We will keep working and remain satisfied together with what we are doing. Only by gathering can we find the energy for new success, so that we can look forward to a better and more beautiful Republika Srpska,” Dodik said. He said that an investment cycle had begun this year and had now reached BAM eight billion, while GDP would amount to BAM 20 billion this year. “Our goal is to reach an average salary in Republika Srpska of EUR 1,000 as soon as possible. Two years ago, having an average salary of BAM 1,000 seemed like a distant dream. We are doing all of this in a way Republika Srpska deserves, so do you, the residents who have always stood with us,” Dodik stressed. He said he was particularly pleased by the fact that the team of people he has represented in recent years, with the support of residents, had reconstructed or built 1,047 religious buildings throughout Republika Srpska and Europe. Dodik said that Republika Srpska would not stop, that it would become better, that all planned projects would be implemented, and that Republika Srpska would be a place to the satisfaction of all the people who live there. He said that Republika Srpska now has international across the Globe. “Željka Cvijanović and all of us who are doing this, and America and Russia, Israel, excellent relations with Serbia, with President Vučić, who supported some of the projects here and visited this place, all certainly demonstrate that we are on the right path, that we recognize outstanding issues, the wounds and the wishes of this people,” Dodik said. He said that Republika Srpska is stable, successful and politically established. Dodik also pointed to the latest injustice by the Constitutional Court of BiH, stressing that the Constitution stipulates that the National Assembly makes the final decision on whether a decision of the BiH Presidency is valid or not. “That is how it was until today, or until these past few days. Now that same infamous, scandalous court, which is not a constitutional court but a Muslim court, imposing its Muslim rules on us here, meaning that it excludes Republika Srpska, has said that it has the right to assess whether Republika Srpska can or should make such a decision,” Dodik said. He said that everything had been fine for more than 30 years, but that they had suddenly decided to review the matter now. “That means that we will have another difficult struggle to wage. In the coming period, we must come together and give our response to these decisions and many others. Only strong representatives of yours can have the energy to fight for you,” Dodik said. He says he supports Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić. “It is impossible for an investment worth more than 30 million to go unnoticed,” Dodik said.
