MEDIA SYSTEM OF REPUBLIKA SRPSKA FEATURED IN PROGRAM OF CHINA'S INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR NEWS COMMUNICATION
BEIJING, SEPTEMBER 4 /SRNA/ - The second part of the 2026 Program of China's International Center for News Communication officially opened in Beijing, bringing together 106 journalists from 95 countries, including the Media System of Republika Srpska /SRNA/.
The program serves as a platform for professional and international exchange. During their stay in China, participants will have the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the country's political, economic, social, and cultural development. A distinctive feature of this year's program is that participants are staying on the campus of Renmin University of China in Beijing, one of China's leading institutions of higher learning, particularly renowned for its work in the social sciences and humanities, journalism and communications. The program, organized with the support of the Chinese Association for Public Diplomacy, will give participants an opportunity, through lectures and discussions, to learn about Chinese society, its political and economic system, the development of the media, and current issues shaping contemporary China. At the opening ceremony, it was highlighted that a special part of the program would focus on gaining insight into China's media system. Visits and exchanges of experience with leading Chinese media organizations are planned, including China Global Television Network /CGTN/, Xinhua News Agency, and People's Daily. Participants will also visit various institutions, companies, science and technology centres, and cultural institutions. The program of visits in Beijing includes institutions such as the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the National Radio and Television Administration, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Renmin University of China. Participants will also learn about developments in artificial intelligence, drones, robotics and other technologies, and visits to cultural landmarks such as the Forbidden City and the Great Wall of China are also planned. The program also includes trips outside Beijing, during which journalists will learn about different parts of China, local communities, the economy, culture and everyday life. The program runs until December 15.
