DODIK: THE 9/11 ATTACKERS FOUGHT AGAINST SERBS, WERE PREPARING FOR A CLASH WITH CHRISTIANITY

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 11 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik said that September 11, 2001 must not be forgotten not only because of the innocent victims, but also as a reminder that jihad is still alive, stressing that the same attackers had fought against the Serbs and Republika Srpska and were preparing for a confrontation with Christianity.

Dodik said that one of the world's most horrific terrorist attacks took place on September 11, 2001. He said that 3,000 innocent people were killed in the United States that day and more than 20,000 were injured as a result of the evil brought about by a radical ideology that specifically targets innocent civilians. Dodik stressed that Republika Srpska remains part of the global anti-terrorism coalition, ready to contribute to the fight against the evil brought about by terrorism. “That is precisely why we must not forget September 11. Not only because of the innocent victims in the United States, but also as a reminder that jihad is alive. The 9/11 attackers fought in BiH, fought against Serbs, Orthodox Christians and Republika Srpska, and were preparing for a confrontation with Christianity,” Dodik wrote on X. He also stressed that it must not be forgotten that the BiH passports issued to them by Muslims, Bosniaks in BiH, enabled them to travel freely throughout the world. “An institution of BiH once confirmed the presence of around 3,500 sleeper cells in this area. This is not merely an abstract threat. It is a reality that is alive and waiting,” Dodik said. That is precisely why, he said, Republika Srpska has stood on the front line against this enemy since its establishment - from the Defensive-Patriotic War, when foreign mujahideen fought against our people, to this day. “Today, we stand with the United States in remembering the innocent victims and support it in its determined resistance to terrorist organizations such as Hamas. We must not forget October 7 either, the day when Hamas killed children, families and the elderly in Israel simply because they were Jewish,” Dodik said. According to him, that is jihad, the same jihad that struck America on September 11 and, before that, beheaded Serbs simply because they were Orthodox Christians. “We are not the ones who need to be taught what terrorism is. We are the ones who have faced it head-on. And we know that freedom is not a gift - freedom is a struggle,” Dodik concluded.
