DODIK: TRUMP’S RETURN TO POWER BROUGHT NEW HOPE TO THE WORLD

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 25 /SRNA/ – The arrival of U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House brought new hope to the world, President Milorad Dodik said.

In the podcast War Zone, hosted by U.S. presidential supporter and American conservative political commentator Wayne Allyn Root, Dodik noted that people in Republika Srpska celebrated Trump’s victory because it represented hope for the entire world, including Srpska. "We in Republika Srpska celebrated Trump’s victory. An image of President Trump was displayed on the Palace of the Republic because we wanted to show how important our relations are to us, which is why the central palace in Banja Luka was illuminated in the colours of the American flag," Dodik said. He said that several hundred people gathered outside the Palace of the Republic at 8:00 a.m. to celebrate Trump’s major election victory. "That was something that people in the administration at the time did not like, and until the end of their term they did everything they could to make life difficult for the people of Srpska," Dodik said. He emphasized that Trump had pulled the world out of a difficult situation. "Those of us who grew up in a socialist society were taught to respect family values; work and effort were respected. We also supported Western values, but what the administration of former U.S. President Joe Biden did, we had not seen even during the darkest period," Dodik said. He recalled that CNN had published lies about Serbs and had not allowed the other side to be heard. "That hurts us because we believe the USA is a democratic country where all sides should be heard, not just those who lie. CNN published lies about us, the Serbs, all the time," Dodik added.
