CVIJANOVIĆ: CRIMINAL COMPLAINT AGAINST LAGUMDŽIJA ONLY FIRST STEP

EAST SARAJEVO, APRIL 23 /SRNA/ - Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović says today's criminal complaint she filed against BiH Ambassador to the UN Zlatko Lagumdžija is the first step, while the initiative for his removal will be the second step with the aim of sanctioning his inadmissible, illegal and unilateral action.

"If this practice continues, the consequence will be of BiH not having ambassadors in the future, but Republika Srpska and part of the Federation of BiH," Cvijanović stated at a press conference in East Sarajevo. She pointed out that anyone who does not respect the Constitution, institutions and constitutional procedures will get a criminal complaint filed against. "Then we will see what kind of judiciary we have on another example," said Cvijanović. She clarified that the criminal complaint was filed due to abuse of official position, attack on the constitutional order and all that Lagumdžija violated, adding that he worked independently. "He was instructed, I saw the letter of /Denis/ Bećirović to the UN representatives, that it was him who gave him the consent and authorization to do that. Bećirović is not the Presidency, he is only a member of the Presidency," Cvijanović emphasized. Cvijanović added that Lagumdžija was not authorized by competent institution, i.e. the BiH Presidency, but he worked independently and violated procedures and rules. "He cannot work there, he is establishing unequal treatments when it comes to members of the Presidency. He cannot deliver Bećirović's letters, but halts Željka Cvijanović's /letters/," she stated.
