TRUNCATED CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF BiH HAS BEEN IN THE FUNCTION OF CREATING ENVIRONMENT CONTRARY TO CONSTITUTION FOR A LONG TIME

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 8 /SRNA/ - Serb member and the chairperson of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović stated that the decisions of the truncated Constitutional Court of BiH, which challenges the laws of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, have long been in the function of creating an environment that would be contrary to the Constitution.
"It is extremely disappointing," Cvijanović told reporters in Banja Luka, commenting on last night's decision of the Truncated Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at an extraordinary session, to "temporarily repeal" the laws passed by the authorities of Republika Srpska. She said that high representatives also brutally changed the environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina, sanctioned people, made, enacted, imposed certain things, and did all this without a foothold in international law. "Then at one point they recognized that it was not really democratic, that it could be condemned by some democratic world, and then they started with the talks to transfer it to some judicial institutions, whether it is the regular judiciary or the Constitutional Court as the protector of the Constitution", Cvijanović stated. First, the Constitutional Court acted on that, passed such unconstitutional decisions, and then, Cvijanović points out, when they communicate in the outside world, they say - well, really, they don't respect the decisions of the Constitutional Court. "And you need to explain to someone how foreigners sit in the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, how they formed a voting block, such as it is, in which they outvote Serbs, in which they even deal with holidays and everything else. So, in continuity. Well, then even that became not enough, so then they started to persecute politicians, people from here, officials, through the regular judiciary," stated Cvijanović. She warned that all this will lead to a big chaos and that it would be good for everyone to ease it up a little and actually look at what can be done to start treatment here. "You know, you have someone who is seriously ill, and you give them some 'paracetamol.' I don't think it can help, so it's time to reset some things and see what can really be done. This is political pushing in which we constantly suffer some pressure from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. When I see how they gloat, I simply cannot believe that they are the protectors of the country. How do you protect the country if you want to deal with the Serbs with whom you live in the same country in this way? Were the Serbs good to you only when they crawled in front of you and fulfilled your goals? Well, that's not normal, it's not healthy after all. But fine, the treatment will start one day," Cvijanović concluded.
