SIPA'S ARRIVAL IN EAST SARAJEVO AIMED AT PROVOKING SRPSKA'S REACTION

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 24 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Army Colonel Rajko Knežević believes that the arrival of the members of the BiH State Investigation and Protection Agency /SIPA/ in a uninational composition, in East Sarajevo was aimed at provoking Srpska's reaction from Srpska, which is further confirmed by the fact that the people with a dubious past were sent.

"They have come in uninational composition to provoke a reaction from Republika Srpska and the republican police. It's just a show for their public," Knežević, who is also the former commander of the Third Republika Srpska Infantry Regiment of the BiH Armed Forces, told SRNA. He also pointed out that it is extremely frivolous that the SIPA leadership is not aware of what happened in that sense. "Whether it was just some kind of spin or something else, we will see, i.e. we will see if all that happened was a ‘trial balloon’ or a pure provocation to see the reaction of Republika Srpska or to direct the attention of the media towards the president of Srpska," said Knežević. He stated that last night's operation by SIPA members represent a provocation that can undermine security in BiH, and to put it mildly, it does not contribute to solving the political crisis in BiH. Knežević mentioned that everyone knows that the last war in BiH started with the killing of a Serb wedding guest in Sarajevo, therefore bringing BiH into a situation where weapons are drawn is not good and this should be avoided at all costs. "The only solution to all problematic and conflict situations in every country is the dialogue of interested parties, because even when wars are fought, a treaty is made based on the agreement. Everything requires patience and discussion, including this crisis situation in BiH," said Knežević. Members of the Republika Srpska MOI last night removed the police officers of the unconstitutional SIPA from the outside of the Republika Srpska Administrative Centre in East Sarajevo while the meeting of President Dodik with the mayor and heads of municipalities within the city was going on. According to SRNA, the operation of SIPA members in East Sarajevo was led by Elvir Ademović, brother of the former head of AID Kemal Ademović, as well as Zijad Landžo, suspected of war crimes against Serbs in Konjic. The Minister of Interior of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan pointed out that SIPA members violated the law and that criminal proceedings will be initiated. The National Assembly of Srpska passed a number of laws and prevented the unconstitutional operations of unconstitutional and anti-Dayton institutions, including the unconstitutional Court, the Prosecutor's Office and SIPA.
