INCIDENT IN THE DISTRICT IS ANOTHER ATTEMPT TO TRANSFER THE POLITICAL CRISIS INTO THE SECURITY SPHERE

BANJA LUKA, May 10 /SRNA/ – The Government of Republika Srpska announced that last night’s incident in the Brčko District—when police stopped vehicles from the Prime Minister’s convoy—as yet another attempt to shift the current political crisis into the security domain.

“Once again, the convoy of the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska acted professionally and responsibly, in this situation and in accordance with regulations", the Government’s Public Relations Bureau emphasized in the statement. They added: “The Prime Minister's convoy followed all rules acted professionally and did not respond to this provocation.” Banja Luka media outlets reported that Brčko District police stopped the vehicles used by Prime Minister Radovan Višković’s convoy last night; however, the Prime Minister himself was not in any of those cars.
