OPPORTUNITY FOR SRPSKA YOUTH TO COOPERATE WITH RUSSIAN YOUTH ORGANISATIONS

BANJA LUKA, JULY 29 /SRNA/ – Minister of Family, Youth, and Sports of Republika Srpska Selma Čabrić told SRNA that representatives of the competent ministry in Tatarstan and the Embassy of Russia in BiH have expressed their desire to offer young people from Srpska the opportunity to cooperate with Russian youth organisations and to apply for funding to implement projects.

Čabrić has added that all necessary information is available on the websites and social media platforms of the relevant institutions in Tatarstan and the Russian Embassy. "To further enhance and solidify this cooperation, we have agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Youth of Tatarstan," said Čabrić. She emphasized that this cooperation opens numerous opportunities for young people for personal and professional development in various fields. "Given that the delegation from Tatarstan also met with representatives of the Youth Council and Volunteer Service of Republika Srpska, connecting young people and establishing cooperation will be much easier," Čabrić noted. According to her, Tatarstan has significant experience in the youth sector, is a leader in the field, has considerable resources, and is willing to help. "These discussions were a major step forward. Between the end of August and the end of September, a forum will be held to which students from Republika Srpska will be invited, and International Sports Games in St. Petersburg are also planned," she pointed out. She stated that these are new opportunities for Republika Srpska to be represented internationally, and expressed confidence that youth, students, and athletes from Srpska will make the most of these opportunities and represent their homeland with dignity. During the recent visit of the Tatarstan delegation to Republika Srpska, Čabrić discussed youth sector cooperation, participation of organisations from Srpska in youth forums organised in Tatarstan, and opportunities for Srpska-based youth organisations to apply for projects funded by the Republic of Tatarstan.
