KOJIĆ: KONAKOVIĆ IS TRYING TO SHIFT ATTENTION AWAY FROM HIS SCANDALS TO POLITICAL TRIAL AGAINST DODIK

SARAJEVO, AUGUST 1 /SRNA/ - Milorad Kojić, an SNSD member of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, told SRNA that Foreign Minister in the Council of Ministers Elmedin Konaković, frustrated by his political fiasco, is trying to divert attention from his scandals and problems by focusing on the political trial against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik.

Kojić pointed out that the trial against Dodik is being conducted solely because he was implementing the Republika Srpska Constitution, which aligns with the Dayton Peace Agreement and the BiH Constitution. "A logical question arises here: Is Konaković calling for protests simply for the sake of protests, which clearly must and should be held against him due to various abuses and his known connections with organized criminal groups?" Kojić said in response to Konaković's statement that he would call for mass protests if Dodik is acquitted in the second-instance verdict. Kojić emphasized that through his statements, Konaković is putting pressure on the judiciary with the aim of creating a more favorable position for himself, so that "this pressure works in his interest because of all the corrupt activities he has been involved in". "Pressure on the judiciary constitutes a criminal offense," Kojić said.
