SZIJJARTO: COOPERATION WITH SRPSKA TO GROW STRONGER IN THE FUTURE

BUDAPEST, SEPTEMBER 4 /SRNA/ – Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto said that the future of Republika Srpska should not be decided in Budapest, Brussels, or Berlin, but by the people of Srpska, whose decision Hungary will always respect, while striving to strengthen cooperation with the Republic.

“Who should lead Srpska must be decided by the people of Republika Srpska, and we will always respect their decision about the future. We are trying to base our cooperation on mutual respect. This has always been successful with Srpska, and we do not want to interrupt it, but to strengthen it,” Szijjarto said at a press conference in Budapest after meeting with the President of Srpska, Milorad Dodik. He emphasized that the development program launched a year and a half ago will continue. Szijjártó pointed out that Brussels has led to the isolation of the European economy, and that the EU economy has been isolated from the U.S. economy. “Today, the European economy is the weakest compared to all other economic communities,” Szijjarto assessed. He said it is clear to the whole world that in Ukraine people are openly hunted, subjected to forced recruitment, and physically abused. “They physically abuse people because some believe that in such a situation everything is allowed, and the greatest disgrace is that in the heart of Europe people are abused and beaten on the basis of recruitment. The responsibility for this lies with Brussels politicians who are turning a blind eye,” Szijjarto stated.
