BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 11 /SRNA/ – The Government of Republika Srpska today adopted conclusions at a special session in Banja Luka concerning the preservation of Srpska, the defense of its constitutional capacity, and the work of the newly convened government.

The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić emphasized that the government, during its mandate, is setting specific objectives, including the strengthening and affirmation of the status of Republika Srpska in accordance with the Dayton Agreement and the Constitution of Srpska. "The conclusions relate to the analysis and preparation for the reorganization of the institutions of Republika Srpska, public enterprises, and public administration; the assessment of the role of judicial institutions in protecting constitutionality and legality in Srpska and BiH; and the implementation of Republika Srpska laws, particularly those enacted in the previous period concerning the Dayton competencies of Republika Srpska," Minić said. He stated that the conclusions also pertain to the implementation of foreign policy activities in coordination with the President of Republika Srpska and the Serb member of the Presidency of BiH. Minić noted that the conclusions include the continuation of cooperation and joint action with the authorities of Serbia in accordance with the Declaration on the Protection of National and Political Rights and the Joint Future of the Serbian People, dated June 8, 2024. "The conclusions also relate to initiating the institutional and economic transformation of Republika Srpska toward a self-sustaining, fiscally stable, and development-oriented community, with a strong reliance on domestic resources, markets, and human potential," Minić said. He emphasized that anyone failing to adhere to the conclusions adopted by the institutions of Republika Srpska will face sanctions. Minić added that a series of measures will be taken to accelerate work on investments, as well as on the social map and other important activities. Following the adoption of the conclusions, the special session of the Government of Republika Srpska was concluded.
