DODIK: SERBS ARE WHEREVER THE SERBIAN WORLD EXISTS

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 15 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated that it is important for the Serb people to gather and mark the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom, and the National Flag, emphasizing that Serbs are wherever the Serbian World exists.

“The Serbian world is not an armed but a traditional formation that brings together our values,” Dodik said in his address at the celebration of the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom, and the National Flag. He conveyed to the citizens gathered in front of the Palace of the Republic, where a 120-meter-long Serbian tricolor was unfurled, the greetings of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, who is currently on an official visit to Japan. “This is the first integrated holiday that we are celebrating,” Dodik said, adding that the freedom and existence of the Serbian people are only possible if Serbs live in one state. He pointed out that attempts had been made to divide the Serbian people by calling part of them Bosnian Serbs. “Despite this, we remained together as one united Serbian people. The question arises as to why we are forbidden to pursue the policy of one nation, one state. We must persevere in this in this century,” Dodik said. He reminded that the victorious Serbian army also liberated Sarajevo in the First World War, or at least the Serbian people thought so. “We thought we had liberated other nations in this region as well, but that was an illusion,” Dodik said. He recalled that the Serbian army bravely triumphed at Kajmakčalan and broke through the Salonika Front, stressing that this must not be forgotten.
